Embracing this patriotic spirit, HMT Machine Tools (HMT Limited), operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India, is marking Karnataka Rajyotsava 2026 with a special tribute. Fulfilling a momentous vision, HMT is officially launching its brand-new and exclusive ‘Kannadiga’ watch series.
The grand unveiling of this special collection is spearheaded at the behest of the proud Kannadiga and Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, Sri H.D. Kumaraswamy.

The celebrations draw deep inspiration from the immortal words of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu’s state anthem, “Bharata Jananiya Tanujate,” celebrating unity, joy, and cultural harmony among citizens.
The newly crafted ‘Kannadiga’ watch series by HMT serves as a proud symbol of Karnataka’s rich language, art, history, and soil. Designed uniquely to resonate with the heartbeat of every Kannadiga, the timepiece collection was officially dedicated to the people of the state by Sri H.D. Kumaraswamy.
