BENGALURU: In a shocking incident that has sent ripples through the Kannada entertainment industry and the local community, a young man identified as Vaishakh allegedly committed suicide at the residence of popular Kannada actress Krishi Thapanda.
The incident, which took place in the city, has prompted a swift investigation by the Bengaluru police as they scramble to piece together the circumstances leading up to the tragic event.
Discovery of the Incident
According to preliminary police reports, Vaishakh was found dead inside the actress’s apartment. The authorities were alerted immediately after the discovery, following which a team of police officials and forensic experts rushed to the spot to conduct a primary investigation.
The body has been shifted to a local government hospital for a post-mortem examination to establish the exact cause and time of death.
Police Investigation Underway
While the exact nature of the relationship between the deceased and actress Krishi Thapanda is still under investigation, sources indicate that the police are questioning witnesses, family members, and close associates.
“We have registered a case of unnatural death and are looking into all possible angles. A thorough investigation is underway to determine what led to this extreme step,” a senior police official stated on the condition of anonymity.
Who is Krishi Thapanda?
Krishi Thapanda is a well-known face in the Sandalwood industry, acclaimed for her debut role in the critically acclaimed movie Akira (2016), which earned her a SIIMA nomination for Best Debutant Actress. She has also appeared in several other Kannada films and was a prominent contestant in the reality television show Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5.
As of the time of filing this report, Actress Krishi Thapanda has not issued an official public statement regarding the incident.
