Siddaramaiah initiates Peripheral Ring Road ‘s first instalment of ₹ 26000 Crores

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today approved the sanction of peripheral ring road in Bangalore City.

First instalment of ₹ 26,000 crores towards the formation of the long new peripheral ring road was agreed to be sanctioned by the Chief Minister today in Bangalore.

Peripheral ring road development was a long pending project initiated by Siddaramaiah during his first tenure as Chief Minister from 2013-2018.Though the successive governments failed to see the project through ,There was continuous demand by the public for the development of peripheral ring road due to the chaos and traffic congestions .

The project of the first phase of peripheral road is expected to commence from April .
