Siddaramaiah gets nod from the High Command to expand and reshuffle Cabinet

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will undertake the reshuffle and expansion of the Cabinet very soon.The CM will bring in new faces into the government after discussions with the High Command in Delhi.

More than half-a-dozen ministers are expected to make way for new faces in the reshuffle while portfolios of some could be changed as well.

Uncertainty hovers over the retaining of Primary education minister Madhu Bangarappa, Higher Education minister Sudhakar, Municipal administration minister Rahim Khan and few others . Sources say couple of powerful ministers belonging to the lingayat community will be replaced by new faces from the same community.

Those likely to get a Cabinet berth are senior Congress leader and MLC B K Hariprasad, Shivajinagar MLA Rizwan Arshad , Aland MLA BR Patil , Malavalli MLA Nanjundaswami , HD Kote MLA Anil Chikkamadu , Ajai Singh and few others. .

B Nagendra, who was accused in the Valmiki scam is likely to get into the Cabinet as well.

The other aspirants include Challakere MLA Raghumurthy, Hunagund MLA Vijayanand Kashappanavar,Narasimharaja MLA Tanveer Sait.
