Karnataka state Bjp legislator Muniratna, in a surprising revelation, says State Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar is keen to join the Bjp along with forty Congress MLAs.

Speaking to media today, he said Shivakumar has already made preparations to join Bjp with his support .

He said Shivakumar has been knocking the doors of Bjp for a few days now .When asked if he is happy to welcome Shivakumar, he said we have closed doors for him, but he is knocking our doors.

Mocking the Deputy Chief Minister further, Muniratna said Shivakumar has lost hopes of becoming the Chief Minister in the Congress party as there are already four strong aspirants for the Chief Minister post and hence Shivakumar is approaching the Bjp party in hopes of becoming the Chief Minister here .

Muniratna was making these charges as a counter statement against Shivakumar as the latter had said that Muniratna is sending his party leaders to Congress party to support his party .

It will be interesting to see political developments in karnataka post loksabha elections if Muniratna’s revelation becomes true.
