BENGALURU: Following extensive deliberations, the Karnataka government has formally announced the allocation of cabinet portfolios to its ministers, establishing key administrative responsibilities across major state departments.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has retained crucial portfolios, including Finance, Cabinet Affairs, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR), and Intelligence, alongside all unassigned departments. Meanwhile, senior leader B.Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan has been entrusted with the Housing Department along with Waqf and Minority Welfare.

 Infrastructure & Urban Mobility: Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar continues to spearhead major state development, retaining charge of Major and Medium Irrigation as well as Bengaluru City Development, overseeing agencies such as the BBMP, BDA, and BWSSB.

 Internal Security & Governance: Dr. G. Parameshwara oversees internal security as the Home Minister (excluding Intelligence).

 Industrial & Rural Growth: M.B. Patil manages Large and Medium Industries, while Priyank Kharge leads Rural Development and Panchayat Raj.
