Bengaluru Man Accuses Wife of Harassment; Claims Pressure for Threesomes
BENGALURU – In a rare legal turn within the city’s domestic landscape, a man has approached the Amruthahalli police to file a formal complaint against his wife, alleging a pattern of sexual harassment and emotional coercion.
The complainant, a resident of North Bengaluru, claims that his marital life took a distressing turn when his wife began demanding participation in sexual activities that he did not consent to. According to the police report, the husband alleged that his wife frequently pressured him to engage in a threesome involving her female friend.
Allegations of Digital Harassment
Beyond physical coercion, the husband’s statement to the police highlighted the use of digital content as a tool for harassment. He alleged that his wife repeatedly sent him explicit videos against his wishes, causing significant mental agony. The complaint further suggests that when he resisted these demands, he was subjected to verbal belittling.
The man also claimed that his wife frequently brought up her past romantic relationships to compare and pressure him, which he described as a form of sustained emotional abuse.
Police Investigation Underway
The Amruthahalli Police have registered the case and are currently investigating the claims. While domestic harassment cases filed by husbands are statistically less common, legal experts note that the law provides avenues for any spouse to seek protection against harassment and non-consensual acts within a marriage.
“The case has been recorded, and we are looking into the evidence provided, including the digital communications mentioned in the complaint,” a police official stated.
The incident has sparked discussions on social media regarding the boundaries of consent within marriage and the legal recourse available to men in cases of domestic distress. As the investigation continues, both parties are expected to be summoned for further questioning.
