RSS Ensured India’s Stability, Not Congress: MLC Narayanaswamy Rebuts Priyank Kharge
Bengaluru: In a sharp rebuttal to recent criticism of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Council, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, asserted on Sunday that India’s stability should be credited to the RSS, not the Congress party.
Addressing reporters at the BJP’s state headquarters in Bengaluru, Narayanaswamy responded to remarks made by Karnataka Rural Development Minister Priyank Kharge, who had challenged BJP leaders to cite ten notable contributions by the RSS.
“The country stands strong today because of the RSS—not because of the Congress,” Narayanaswamy declared. Directly addressing Kharge, he added, “Let me remind you, I know your history and your father’s history too. Don’t provoke me repeatedly.”
The exchange highlights growing tensions between the ruling Congress government in Karnataka and the BJP opposition, with ideological clashes over the role of the RSS in India’s political and social fabric taking center stage.
