Bengaluru: Commuters on the newly launched Yellow Line of Namma Metro now have an easier way to reach their destinations, thanks to a fresh fleet of feeder buses flagged off by Transport and Muzrai Minister Ramalinga Reddy.

The service, designed to boost last-mile connectivity, will link key metro stations with nearby residential and commercial hubs, making the Yellow Line more accessible and convenient for daily travellers.

Speaking at the launch, held on board the Yellow Line itself, Minister Reddy highlighted the importance of integrating bus and metro services for a seamless public transport experience in Bengaluru.

The event was attended by BMRCL Managing Director R. Ramachandran, Bengaluru South MLA M. Krishnappa, IT Director Shilpa M., Security and Vigilance Director Abdul Ahad, along with senior representatives from the Electronic City Industries Association (ELCIA) and the Electronic City Industrial Township Authority (ELCITA). Metro staff and officials also joined the occasion.

With the Yellow Line now operational and feeder buses in service, Bengaluru’s public transport network is taking a big step toward better connectivity and reduced traffic congestion.
