Darshan’s Wife Vijaylakshmi Reportedly Considering Legal Action Over Ramya’s Social Media Post

Bangalore Mail Entertainment Desk

Bangalore: Tensions continue to mount within the Kannada film industry as reports suggest that Vijaylakshmi, wife of actor Darshan, may be planning to file a formal complaint against actress and former MP Ramya. The move comes after Ramya recently shared a social media post expressing support for the late Renukaswamy’s family.

In a statement posted to her Instagram account, Ramya wrote, “The Supreme Court is a beacon of hope for India’s citizens—justice must be served for the family of Renukaswamy.” Her remarks quickly drew sharp reactions, particularly from fans of Darshan, many of whom inundated her comment section with abusive and hostile messages.

While Ramya did not directly name Darshan in her post, its timing and context have sparked controversy, especially amid the ongoing investigation linked to the case. Sources close to the matter say Vijaylakshmi is exploring legal avenues in response to what she views as provocative or potentially defamatory content.

The situation has further polarized public opinion within the Kannada film community, with hashtags such as #JusticeForRenukaswamy, #Darshan, and #Ramya continuing to trend online.
