Bangalore| July 24 : A serious controversy is brewing over alleged electoral malpractices in one of Karnataka’s Lok Sabha constituencies, following explosive claims by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi. His statements, made on the eve of the Bihar elections, have sent shockwaves through political circles and renewed national debate on the transparency of India’s electoral process.
While Gandhi refrained from naming the specific constituency, speculation is rife that he may have been referring to Bangalore Central — a seat that witnessed a close contest in 2024. It took us over six months. We will soon present the findings to the Election Commission and the public,” he stated.
According to Gandhi, the study revealed critical information about how new voters were added and existing names were allegedly removed, raising questions about due process and potential manipulation. He hinted at systemic issues but stopped short of revealing the constituency’s name — a move that has only intensified speculation.
