Legislator Basanna Gouda Patil Yatnal , who was expelled from the BJP party recently said he is going to launch a new political party by Vijayadashami this year.

Yatnal said many youngsters and traditional BJP voters in the state want him to launch a political party based on hindu ideology. He said many political leaders within the party are unhappy with B Y Vijayendra’s style of functioning.

Yatnal said a new political party will be launched only if the high command continues Vijayendra as the party president of Karnataka state BJP. He also said he will support BJP if Vijayendra is removed as the party president and will never venture with launching a new political outfit.

Yatnal does have a strong backing of many hindu votes across the state and the support of few strong BJP MLAs like Ramesh Jharkiholi, Kumar Bangarappa, Aravind Limbavali and others .

It will be interesting to see if this year Vijayadashami will have a new political party in the state .
