People of Karnataka gave congress a decisive mandate in 2023 assembly elections, with 138 seats , Siddaramaiah lead congress government is on a firm footing. Rumors of buying MLAs and destabilizing the congress government by BJP central leadership seems too dramatic, they certainly know that any attempt to topple Siddaramaiah government would mean antagonizing OBC & Dalits communities which along with Muslims consolidated in favor of congress.

The BJP central leadership have for long been extremely cautious, even as the BJP state leaders prematurely took on the MUDA issue attacking chief minister Siddaramaiah BJP central leadership showed little interest comparatively.

Siddaramaiah continues to enjoy the support and trust of congress central leadership, especially Rahul Gandhi who have been consistently talking about OBC and caste census. Siddaramaiah is seen as the voice & face of not only OBC across the country, his ability to unite AHINDA through his programs and policies is a strength for the congress.

Even as the debate of power sharing formula keeps making headlines the central leadership of the congress just like the BJP leadership does not want to disturb Siddaramaiah and is keen to take the Karnataka model of AHINDA nationally.
