International Drug racket busted by DRI in Bangalore Airport

After being tipped beforehand , The officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence have busted an International drug racket .The Bangalore Zonal Unit of DRI arrested a 24 year old Kenyan who was smuggling Rs 30 crore worth cocaine at the Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore.

This young man, according to the officials, is a trafficker who was given money for travel expenses to carry a bag of cocaine from Doha to India.

The DRI are investigating the case to know who gave this man money to carry out the deal .

The DRI officials had recieved information beforehand that a large consignment of cocaine was due to arrive .

During the interrogation, the youth confessed the bag was given to him in Doha with an instruction that it has to be handed over to someone in airport and he didn’t know who the person was .

The DRI suspects a big hand behind this International drug racket.
