Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar has come up with an innovate idea to woo the urban voters after his brother D K Suresh lost Bangalore Rural loksabha elections to political novice Dr Manjunath with a huge margin around 2.68 lakhs .

D K Shivakumar realized that he was never a darling of urban voters and has been trying hard to fit into the thoughts and good will of bangaloreans.

This time, he has come up with an idea of extending the timings of public parks. The public parks were closed in afternoons and would open again after 4 pm .The Deputy Chief Minister has asked the authorities to keep the parks open for public from 5 am to 10 pm

D K Shivakumar may come up with more similar plans as the BBMP elections will be held soon around the year end .
